Who we are.
Since our establishment
in 1998, we have helped thousands of migrants and refugees in the Northern Sydney Region connect with services and build networks to engage fully in the social and economic life of
Australia. Over the past two decades, Northern Sydney has increasingly been the location of choice for migrants and refugees. In the past eight years more than 38,000 people from over 130 different countries have chosen the Northern Sydney Region as the place they call ‘home.’ MigrantLINK provides services to individuals,
government and business to ensure the benefits of Australia’s rich migrant diversity by maximising the economic, social and cultural potential of new migrant residents across Northern Sydney. We are a non-profit organisation, managed by a Board of Directors. It was established in 1998, following research into the needs of migrants and refugees living in the Northern Sydney Region. This research revealed the need for more effective overall coordination and planning of
settlement services in the Region.
