Northern Sydney Families NSW Practice Forum

I acknowledge the valuable support and contribution to the project; ‘Northern Exposure’ provided by the Families NSW (DoCS), Project Reference Group, members of the 4 sub-regional Child and Family Interagencies/Families NSW Networks. 

My special thanks to our guest speakers Aunty Edna Watson, Penny Pink and Professor Jennifer Bowes for their invaluable time and contribution to the event and setting the scene for the day.

The presenters from Families NSW and ACYFS need a special mention as they made the whole event not only a success but an enjoyable experience for all attending with their creative and innovative ways of presenting the themes in a collaborative manner. Thanks to them for co-operating and contributing to the team effort all through the progress and delivery of the project.

Thanks to Herb Smith for assisting in organising the beautiful “Nature Nature” Band, Dharug elder, & the video man and making the event complete.

My heartfelt thanks to Sue Maddrell, my supervisor, for being the pillar of support and encouragement all along the progress of the project. Rebecca Coote, FNSW, for her continuous support and being there when most needed, needs to be appreciated with a cheer.   I must not forget to mention my colleagues Wahid Razi and Wendy Cashin for their contributions in making this project successful.

Lastly but not least, the most wonderful volunteers, have done an amazing job of making the ends meet. Without their willing help, support and smiling faces we will not be smiling as wide today!
